VISITING THE THEATER

How do I get tickets? Can I change my ticket?

Click here to find the show you want to see, and click the “tickets” button. If you have any other questions about tickets, or prefer to purchase over the phone, please call (646) 343-1586 and select option 1 for box office.

Can I buy tickets in person? When is the box office open?

The box office usually opens 30 minutes before each performance, however this varies from production to production. If there are tickets still available, you can purchase them in person at that time.

Is there a way to see shows at the Connelly for free? Do you use volunteer ushers?

Sometimes! Click here to add your name to our list of ushers. You'll help us out before and after the show, and you'll get in for free. Not all productions at the Connelly user volunteer ushers, so the best way to hear when we need help is to put your name on our list. Please don't call or email us about ushering—we'll reach out when we need you.

Do you have any Covid-related policies I should know about?

Oh most definitely. You can find them here.

I have an accessibility question.

Take a look at our page about accessibility here, and don’t hesitate to email us with any additional questions.

I'm looking for the Metropolitan Playhouse? Is it part of the Connelly Theater?

The Metropolitan Playhouse is upstairs from us. We think they are very handsome and like them very much, but are not otherwise affiliated. You can find them here.

I left something in the theater. Did you find it?

Please email us and we'll take a look.

What's the nearest subway?

The F to 2nd Ave. is closest. We're also a relatively short walk from Bleecker Street (6), Broadway-Lafayette (B/D/F/M), Astor Place & 8th St (6/N/R).

Where is the nearest parking?

Street parking is scarce. The nearest parking lot is Edison ParkFast at 167 Essex St. btw Stanton and Houston, about a 6 minute walk [map].

Where do we eat?

Where don't we eat? There are more restaurants in the East Village than there are in some entire cities. Some of our favorites within a two-block radius include:

  • Minca Ramen (E. 5th btw A & B). Some of the most authentic ramen in NYC.

  • Two Boots Pizzeria (Ave. A btw 2nd & 3rd). Terrific pizza with a cajun twist, and an NYC staple. Slices or pies.

  • V-Nam Café (1st Ave. btw. 1st & 2nd). Delicious bahn mi sandwiches and other Vietnamese food, very casual.

  • Hub Thai (Ave. A btw. 3rd and 4th). Totally decent Thai.

  • Somtum Der (Ave. A btw 5th and 6th). Upscale Thai.

  • Gaia Italian Café (Houston btw. Ave A and Ave B). Probably the best Italian food in NYC. This isn’t Little Italy-style tourist stuff, this is the real deal. Easy to walk in for lunch, but reservations absolutely necessary for dinner. UPDATE: Gaia lost their space and is currently closed, but rumor is the restaurant will return at some point, and besides, we can’t bring ourselves to take it off the list. We liked it that much.

Tell them we sent you. Not because we get anything out of it, but we've always wanted to say that.
