Wheelchair Accessibility
Although the building is unfortunately not ADA-compliant (it was built in the mid-1800s), the theater is on ground level and we have a secondary entrance that is wheelchair accessible (no steps). Look for the easternmost door of the building, with the small sign that says “Theater” over it. This door is usually locked, so you will need to request access from the front of house staff.
Most productions will be able to make room for patrons in wheelchairs in the front row. Please speak to the box office in advance so they can reserve a space for you and any companions.
Please note: Each production is managed individually by the company that is producing the show, not by the theater itself, which means that front of house staff may not be familiar with our accessibility options. We highly recommend reaching out at least one business day in advance so that we can ensure that staff is familiar with your needs. Please email us or call us at (646) 343-1586 and select option 2 to speak to the manager. We do provide accessibility information to the staff of each production, but reaching out in advance will ensure that they are prepared.
Restrooms are accessible without stairs, however there are no wide stalls.
